From one client
What was your first impression of
Karen as a person?
The first time I met Karen I was
struck by her overwhelming zest for life. I remember being both
attracted to and frightened by her energy, her honesty, and her
ability to cut through the fog and arrive at a point of incredible
clarity.
What was your impression of her as
a coach?
Several things have impressed
me about Karen as my coach. She is able to be with me in my
process of discovery and remain outside the attachment to any
particular results. This has allowed me the personal empowerment I
need to make significant discoveries and create my own choices and
outcomes. I have also enjoyed her quick sense of humor, her unique
perspective on life and her intense commitment to her clients in
reaching greater satisfaction in their personal investments of
time and energy.
What was going on in your life at
the time that you considered her for your coach?
I am continually in the process of
self-understanding so that I may better utilize my time for the
greatest personal fulfillment possible.
Why did you decide to select her as
your coach?
Karen and I share the
understanding that life is precious. The way to create
satisfaction is to be and do what supports that belief. The way to
know one’s own sense of the preciousness is through
self-discovery and personal choice.
How has coaching impacted your
life, business and relationships?
Through coaching, I have gained
insights and am able to make choices that more
honestly reflect my values. I am
amazed at the simple and effective process of coaching and the
rich rewards that are available. Every session provides me with
some nugget of insight that has benefits in my life.
What have the coaching sessions
been like to experience?
The process of coaching varies from
session to session, depending on my agenda, my energy level, my
intentions and what I want to manifest in the call(s). The
prevalent experience has been one of moving through fog into
light. At times, the fog has settled in for a time, but through
effective coaching, clarity does emerge and the appropriate action
to take becomes evident.
Would you recommend Karen to other
people?
Yes. Her ideal clients are
adventurous in spirit, restless by nature and intellectually
clever. They want a coach that will keep up with them, and honor
their pace and intentions.
As you think of her coaching, what
sets Karen apart from other coaches?
Karen’s own life experiences have
prepared her to be present and face the more difficult challenges
life has to offer. She has confronted her own gremlins,
understands through experience, the process of breaking through to
the other side and joyfully embraces the ownership of results. She
does not rescue, save and cushion you, the client, from the
richness of experience.
What would you want to say to
someone who is thinking about hiring a coach?
Coaching is a safety zone for
discovering. It is a place to explore ways to acknowledge, express
and celebrate who you truly are. If there are aspects of you that
you keep hidden that want to come out, coaching is a bridge that
will assist you in living from the inside-out.
