Dear Karen,
This last year of coaching has had
a big impact on my business and personal life, and I want to thank
you. Who would have remotely guessed how much coaching would
enhance my life?
At the time of our first meeting
and conversation over tea on the Bainbridge Island ferry, I didn’t
have much direction. My management position had changed; the
company had been purchased by a large national corporation. I knew
that if I didn’t play by corporate America’s rules, I would
simply be passed over. I went away from our discussion with your
business card and memory of your enthusiasm and professionalism.
I pondered our first meeting for a
few days and decided to call you for more information. We talked
and you offered a complimentary coaching session so I could see if
your style and methods met my criteria. We had our first session
and I quickly determined that your services were what I was
looking for, even though I didn’t know how much coaching would
personally benefit me.
Your coaching sessions have drawn
out my ideas to enhance my career. My ideas, not yours, that were
always there in my mind but not expressed. These thoughts just
needed a little "coaching" to draw them out. The result
has been an abundance of creative ideas that have never been
attempted within my industry until now. These ideas have benefited
me personally and have had positive impacts on many others in our
company.
In our new avenue of coaching,
financial and property management, I have realized that my
original beliefs that I didn’t have time for both my career and
managing property were wrong. With your coaching, I now have
better time management skills. I now have time for things I like
to do. This is just icing on the cake.
In conclusion, I hope others have
the opportunity to experience your coaching abilities as I have.
The combination of your formal coaching training and your being an
attorney has many uses and benefits. Again Karen, thank you for
exposing me to coaching and its benefits. I look forward to
progressing with our sessions. I am excited with what is available
to me out there that I had never thought of. We are truly on an
"expedition."
